During my time at Pepperdine, I studied all the complexities of PR with a focus on digital and social media marketing. This major also contained courses that provided general knowledge of related fields such as advertising, IMC, journalism and marketing. My upper division courses gave me the opportunity to formulate real strategic communication campaigns and presentations for notable companies and non-profit organizations.

#SHAPETAPENATION SCANDAL

Tarte Cosmetics received major backlash early 2018 with the release of their limited Shape Tape foundation shade range. For this assignment, we were required to analyze the PR crisis and provide suggestions on how to amend and eradicate the issue. Furthermore, we also had to provide communication strategies on how Tarte could re-launch the foundation.
